In his State of the Union address on Thursday, President Joe Biden will make the case for his stewardship of the country and attack rival Donald Trump and the 'MAGA Republicans,' all while asking voters whose side they want to be on.

In his remarks, Biden will ask Americans if they want lower health care costs, democratic freedoms and to keep Ukraine from being swallowed up by Russian leader Vladimir Putin? Or do they want to side with drug company profits, tax breaks for the wealthy and Putin?

The underlying argument will be that Biden is on the right side of these issues, as opposed to Trump.

At this point, not enough people are buying the lie that Biden's administration is responsible for record job growth, bringing down living costs, and higher wages. They can come up with buzzwords like "Bidenomics" all they want, but it's hard to believe the propaganda when you're experiencing this administration's failures at your dinner table firsthand.

Not to mention that his supposed "job growth" is actually 25 percent government jobs. 

Moreover, this slog we're going through with the Biden admin is only made worse by the fact that we're watching him take the money taken from us by the government and watch that same government turn around and hand it to countries like Ukraine who, according to the aforementioned government, needs it more than we do.

Sorry, but a lot of Americans are going to strongly disagree there. 

Ultimately, asking Americans what side they're on isn't a winning strategy, because ultimately they aren't on Biden's. Hell, they aren't even on Trump's. 

In the end, the people are on their own side, and when the economy gets rough, that fact becomes more true than ever. Biden's question is, in the end, a demand for loyalty to the Democrat Party, but the Democrat Party has shown zero loyalty to the people. 

They want to take our guns away while providing weapons to everyone from Ukrainians to the Taliban. They want to let illegal immigrants roam freely and commit all sorts of crimes but God forbid an American citizen so much as report accurately about January 6. They want to force you into acceptance of fringe kinks and mental illnesses, especially when it comes to your children, but say nothing when these mentally ill people literally kill our children. They'll shut down a church for holding a service when the government unconstitutionally says it can't then turn around and let a mob they like burn down a neighborhood.

The Democrats are not on our side yet they want us to be on theirs? I don't even know whose side the Democrats are on lately.

Here's what I do know. 

I know that the cost of my gas and groceries has skyrocketed. I know that I'm seeing more and more homeless people who are clearly addicted to drugs walking around my town. I know that my state is being flooded with illegal immigrants and see the results of this on the economy and the crime it creates. I also see the Democrats trying to stop my governor from closing that border. I know that the IRS is going to take a good portion of the money I rightfully made and send it to a country I don't care about and likely won't use the money in the way it should anyway. I know it's not going to go to things we actually need it to.

I know that in November, I'm going to vote for the guy who I think will work for me, not the other way around. 

This is the mentality of many Americans right now.

I'm not on any side but mine and my family's. Whoever is willing to get our economy back in line, restore law and order, and put America back on track has my vote but not my loyalty.
