J.K. Rowling can’t lose. Despite attempts by the transgender mob to cancel, break, and destroy the “Harry Potter” author, Rowling seems to best them at every turn and most of the time it’s by sitting back and doing nothing.

Case in point, the upcoming action/adventure video game “Hogwarts Legacy” has been generating unceasing hype since its announcement and with each and every demonstration, it only gets more popular.

As RedState reported back in August of last year, the pre-orders for the collector’s edition sold out within seconds of being available.

Naturally, this has caused the trans activist community and its allies. Naturally, they’ve taken to Twitter to voice their outrage that anyone would ever buy such a product. Their reasoning is that buying anything from the Potter-verse is an endorsement of Rowling’s supposed bigotry and hatred towards trans people, a stance that she actually does not have.

Every day keyboard warriors and influencers alike spoke out against buying “Hogwarts Legacy,” some just by using spicy language to describe those that do and others that tried to get people to believe that buying Rowling’s merch is confirming the author’s bias.

JK Rowling has explicitly said she believes the money she makes is evidence that people generally agree with her views on trans people or at least those beliefs aren’t a dealbreaker to them. *You* might not think buying Wizarding stuff is supporting her views, but she sure does.

However, if the trans community and their trained dogs thought that this would somehow sway people away from purchasing the game, they were deadly mistaken. The backlash towards the game’s popularity and the love of Rowling’s wizarding world only seemed to add fuel to the fire.

Now people are vowing to purchase the game purely out of spite in order to stick it to the wokescolds and societal dictators that want everybody to be as miserable and angry as they are.

The backlash to the backlash, when added to the hype for the game, caused the game to trend on Twitter. Some promised to purchase the game despite not even being gamers. Others reasoned that purchasing a game is not the same as endorsing a modern faux paus.

No matter what the content of the tweet was, the conclusion was all the same; “I’m buying this game.”

Unless it severely underperforms once people actually get ahold of the game, this title will likely be among the all-time best sellers. The promise of this game is that it will allow players to actually live through the Hogwarts experience themselves. For millennials who grew up on the fantasy series, this is something of a dream come true.

People trying to stop others from scratching that itch over a false allegation of hatred is only going to cause anger and resentment from those wanting to buy the game. Spite is a powerful motivator, and it would appear the trans community has, once again, tripped that switch in many people’s hearts and minds.

While Rowling herself had absolutely nothing to do with the game’s development outside of creating the wizarding world, to begin with, she’s likely going to get some royalties. Once she sees the infusion of cash enter her bank account, she should thank the outrage brigades for their service.
