Joe Biden has his orders. The Taliban have commanded him to have American troops out by the 31st or there will be “consequences.” This being the Biden administration, we might very well see compliance. This isn’t exactly an intimidating President, and our military is more focused on being woke than being effective.

“If the US or UK were to seek additional time to continue evacuations – the answer is no,” said Dr. Suhail Shaheen. “Or there would be consequences. It will create mistrust between us. If they are intent on continuing the occupation it will provoke a reaction.”
America’s reaction should be to laugh in the Taliban’s face and then proceed to put the fear of God and the United States into them through various means, most of which involve explosions and gunpowder. Instead, we have a Defense Department that wants to be as understanding as possible to the terrorists.
“We have seen the public statements by the Taliban spokesman about their views on 31 August, I think we all understand that view,” said US Department of Defense secretary John Kirby.
Not really. Not when we have Americans on the ground who need help getting out.
Walking the halls of D.C., one man seemed to have the right attitude. Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw made it clear that these terrorists only understand one thing, and that’s force. Negotiations aren’t going to work, and appeasement definitely doesn’t. That’s why Crenshaw said what no one in the White House is willing to say to these “dirty savage terrorists.”
“Go f*** yourself.”
The only proper response from America to these dirty savage terrorists should be:
Go f*** yourself. https://t.co/n6Ip9V3Vwh

“By refusing to extend the self-imposed Aug 31st deadline, President Biden is potentially turning this disaster into something far worse,” Crenshaw added in a follow-up tweet. “It could turn deadly for US citizens left behind. I don’t care what the Taliban says, fight for our people until the job is done.”

Crenshaw, a warfighter himself, understands our enemies better than most. When he calls them “savage” he’s being very direct with his wording. These people are extremists who see terror and force as the way to accomplish their ends and their ends are conversion and subjugation. They don’t view women as people but as cattle to be traded and used as they wish. There is no equality, fair judicial system, or representative government. The land is ruled by warlords. The only thing they respect and understand is someone stronger and more powerful than they are.
It’s not a concept people on the left seem to understand. They believe negotiations and peace talks will win the day, but they won’t. They don’t compromise and every promise made is only as good as the time it takes for that promise to become inconvenient.
The correct response was Crenshaw’s. We should be telling the Taliban that we’ll withdraw when we feel like it. We aren’t, and the world is watching.
