Megyn Kelly wasn’t buying what the Girl Scouts were selling when it came to deleting their tweet congratulating Amy Coney Barrett for her nomination to the Supreme Court.

As my colleague, Becca Lower covered earlier, the Girl Scouts of America tweeted out a picture congratulating Barrett for her appointment, and along with it, pictures of all five women justices who have been on the Supreme Court, including Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Sandra Day O’Connor.

Naturally, the leftist Twitter mob couldn’t handle a Republican woman getting any kind of acknowledgment or props and proceeded to bully the Girl Scouts until they took it down. The Girl Scouts said that the post was not meant to be political, but since it was taken that way, they removed it.

Earlier today, we shared a post highlighting the five women who have been appointed to the Supreme Court. It was quickly viewed as a political and partisan statement which was not our intent and we have removed the post.

“Girl Scouts of the USA is a nonpolitical, nonpartisan organization. We are neither red nor blue, but Girl Scout GREEN. We are here to lift up girls and women,” they added in a second tweet.

Kelly, however, wasn’t having it and cut straight to the reality of the situation, noting that it wasn’t a partisan tweet but taking it down made it one.

“This is pathetic [Girl Scouts]. It’s not “partisan” to generically congratulate the 5th woman ever to join the High Court. It’s patriotic. Taking your tweet down *is* partisan, however, and a real disappointment,” tweeted Kelly.

She is correct. The tweet was, in fact, bipartisan. It featured three justices that were appointed by Democrat presidents and two appointed by Republicans.

The backlash against the tweet was unfair and should have been ignored, but the girl scouts buckled under the pressure of intolerant leftists. Erasing a bipartisan tweet at the demands of partisan individuals is a partisan act.

Allie Beth Stuckey put it very simply herself in reply to the Girl Scouts claiming it was a nonpartisan organization.

The Girl Scouts is no stranger to partisan actions, however. Last year in March they gave its highest honor to a teen member who teamed with the Women’s March and Planned Parenthood in order to promote abortions. The teen got interested in putting this campaign on when, not so surprisingly, Brett Kavanaugh was nominated to the Supreme Court.

The Girl Scouts is, for all intents and purposes, a partisan organization.
