“Above all else, the Devil cannot stand to be mocked.” – C.S. Lewis
I feel like we don’t do enough mocking of Daesh. Yes, they’re a legitimate threat that should be taken very seriously – if only our government would – but like any group of self-aggrandizing, hateful, authoritarian morons, they should well made fun of.
And the hacker group known as “Anonymous” did exactly that, and in the best way possible.
Hacking into various pro-ISIS accounts, the group made them rep the rainbow flag and put forth pro-gay messages ranging from pleasant to NSFW.
A hacker going by the name “WauchulaGhost” claimed he was responsible for the hacks, stating “For you #Orlando”

According to Out.com, Wauchula issued a statement along with the hacks.
I did it for the lives lost in Orlando.
Daesh [ISIS] have been spreading and praising the attack, so I thought I would defend those that were lost. The taking of innocent lives will not be tolerated.
Our actions are directed at Jihadist extremists. Many of our own [group of hackers] are Muslim and we respect all religions that do not take innocent lives.
Daesh claimed credit for the attack on the gay club, Pulse, in Orlando where 50 people died. This is the same group that likes to throw gay men off the top of buildings to their death. While many may disagree with homosexuality, I think we can all agree that making fun of Daesh by turning their pages into an online gay pride parade is a stroke of genius.
Hats off to Wauchula on this superb idea.
