Democrat Senator Goes Haywire After Judge's Arrest, Appears to Call for Violence

Another day, another left-wing meltdown, this one centering on the arrest of Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Hannah Dugan.

Per RedState's prior reporting, Dugan was arrested by federal marshals after allegedly harboring an illegal alien and helping him escape an ICE arrest warrant. The details of the story are shocking and paint a picture of a judge helping a domestic abuser slip out the side door as his alleged victims waited in a courtroom.

As the above thread goes on to explain (click it to see all the posts), Dugan allegedly misdirected ICE agents, having them wait in another room while she then helped Eduardo Flores-Ruiz, an illegal alien, evade immigration officials and escape. She was also reportedly "confrontational" and "angry" while interacting with federal immigration officials.

The case seems simple enough, but as tends to happen, partisanship has overtaken the topic. As expected, the very same people who spent years proclaiming that "no one is above the law" are now suggesting separation of powers protects Dugan from any consequences for her probable criminal activity. Here's Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) doing just that, as illustrated by a helpful side-by-side I put together.

That brings me to Sen. Ed Markey (D-MA). He took things a step further, appearing to call for violence, calling this a "red alert moment" and demanding that Americans "rise up" against the Trump administration for treating everyone equally under the law. Naturally, he also once had a penchant for saying "no one is above the law." Funny how the standard has suddenly changed, right?

These absolutely ridiculous hacks. Where was this concern when Republicans, including the current president, were being targeted by the Biden administration? And as for the separation of powers, every single Democrat currently losing their mind over this was all for every temporary restraining order and injunction handed down against the Trump administration over the last three months. Now, we are too believe that the executive branch can't enforce the law against any member of the judicial branch? Yeah, that's not how this works.

Dugan will get her day in court, and it won't be in her courtroom. But as things stand, it sure looks like she purposely obstructed the arrest of an illegal alien and facilitated his escape from federal authorities. Being a judge doesn't insulate her from the consequences of breaking the law, and it's long past time some examples were made. I hope the DOJ throws the book at her, and Markey and the rest can go pound sand.
