A large explosion took place inside a Forth Worth, TX, hotel on Monday. Authorities are reporting that there could be mass casualties associated with the "major incident."
The hotel in question is the "Sandman Signature Hotel" in downtown Forth Worth.

It was not immediately apparent what caused the explosion. Details are being updated by the minute, but the most recent reporting suggests it could have been a gas explosion, perhaps related to some kind of leak on the property. That could simply be speculation given how little time has passed. It would seem unlikely a certain cause has actually been determined yet.
Total injuries are at least 10. Whether anyone perished in the explosion or not is not known yet. This is a developing story, and RedState will update it as necessary.
