On Saturday, the worst single-day attack on Israel in the nation's history occurred as thousands of Palestinian terrorists invaded and brutally murdered men, women, and children in the streets. As of this writing, dozens are still being held hostage, and retaliatory strikes within the Gaza Strip are already underway. 

Some of the videos that came out in the immediate aftermath were horrific, with one showing a woman who had been tortured, stripped, and murdered before being paraded around in the back of a truck. Other videos circulated showing Hamas militants going door to door, killing civilians. 

Given the barbarity of what occurred, you wouldn't expect anyone to be psychotic enough to draw a moral equivalence between the Israelis and terrorist killers. Yet, that's exactly what happened on Sunday in New York City as the Democratic Socialists of America (the organization Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was birthed out of) organized a pro-Hamas rally. The scenes were stomach-churching.

Apparently, chopping up civilians and raping women is simply called "resistance" when it comes to the Palestinian cause. It's astonishing what people will excuse as if their nonsensical rantings about "settlers" justify mass murders. 

And to be sure, there were open calls for genocide at this rally.

Understand that this isn't just about the non-existent "occupation" of Gaza (in reality, Hamas has run that area since 2008). Rather, it's about wiping Israel off the map and killing every Jew along the way. What you are seeing at that rally is an expression of genocidal rage, and it should be treated as such. 

What's astonishing is that people get fired from their jobs for taking the most basic stands for reality, but no one stumping for Hamas will pay a price. No one will be canceled. The Palestinian "cause" is a get-out-jail-free card for blood-thirsty psychos everywhere. So much so that Democrat congressional members can blame Israel for Hamas murdering Jews and no one bats an eye outside of the right. 

I don't know exactly how this ends, but I can't imagine it ends well. There used to be a basic understanding in society that you didn't praise genocidal terrorists and treat them as the good guys. That's no more, and what's ironic is that many people at that rally would be immediately killed if they stepped foot in Gaza. The far-left always thinks they "understand" barbarians. It's an incredibly naive and morally inept worldview.
