Political strategist James Carville isn’t particularly relevant anymore, but he keeps making news because he keeps saying outlandish things and has become somewhat of an entertaining cartoon character. Lately he’s been making a living by slamming the Democrats and the disastrous effort they put in for the ’24 presidential election when they dumped horrible candidate Joe Biden for the even worse Kamala Harris.
In the weeks before the vote, however, the Ragin' Cajun penned an op-ed for The New York Times titled, "Three Reasons I’m Certain Kamala Harris Will Win." Oops, James, you done lost your credibility on that one.
But there’s another Democrat who’s just as insufferable as Carville, only he’s not as entertaining, and he’s not as smart. (Just because Carville lets his desires cloud his vision doesn’t mean he’s stupid.)
David Hogg is the 25-year-old gun control advocate who was recently elected to the position of vice chair of the Democratic National Committee (DNC), whereupon he immediately made enemies by announcing that he wanted to fund challengers of incumbents. That’s a no-no for a DNC member, and the blowback was swift and harsh.
Carville’s response, however, is perhaps the most ruthless yet. The two appeared on the Tara Palmeri Show Wednesday, and Carville just shredded him (warning: mild profanity)
James Carville does not back down while debating DNC Vice Chair David Hogg's 20 million dollar strategy to primary Democrats:

Tara Palmeri: "You've [James Carville] said that members of the DNC should sue him for doing this, since David is a member of the party leadership."

Tara Palmeri: "You've [James Carville] said that members of the DNC should sue him for doing this, since David is a member of the party leadership."
James Carville: "I think it is abominable that an official of a political party that is being paid or supported by that political party to go out and raise money to defeat members of the same party. I think that's jack***ery of the highest level.
I'm going to tell you right to your face: I think it's abominable that you have anything to do with the DNC."Democrat voters: 'Stop anointing your preferred candidates. Let the voters make decisions via the Democratic process'
DNC: 'We hear you loud and clear, which is why we're putting our thumb on the scale.'
"I'm going to tell you right to your face: I think it's abominable that you have anything to do with the DNC." Call an ambulance.
It’s not the first time Carville has blasted the young Democrat:
Oh My: David Hogg May Do in the Dem Party With His New Effort As Carville Rips Him to Shreds
It wasn’t the only thing Carville called him out on—he also pointed out how most Democrats, including the young “cool” ones—failed to realize (or lied about) the fact that Joe Biden was no longer up to the task of running the country.
James Carville to David Hogg: “I called on Joe Biden to drop out of the race in 2022. Where were you? Where was the young, the young cool generation coming?” @JamesCarville @davidhogg111 pic.twitter.com/GtntEpCUe6

The DNC's Civil War Is Popcorn Worthy Fun, and I Can't Wait to See What Happens Next
Carville, who’s wrong more than a broken clock, is actually right on this one: you don’t sign up for a top job at a national political party only to work against sitting incumbents. That’s not the way it works, silly David.
I could be wrong, but my guess is that Hogg is not long for the DNC.
