Donald Trump has threatened to withhold billions in federal funding from Harvard University because the institution has let antisemitism run rampant on its campus. Did Harvard react by vowing to crack down on hate? No, instead they’re suing the administration for the taxpayer-funded money, which they somehow feel they’re entitled to.
As I’ve asked before, they have a $53 billion endowment—how about they mirror Hillsdale College and refuse federal money? Then they can teach whatever garbage they want.
Instead, they seem to be saying, we should be able to promote whatever woke agenda that we desire, and you should be forced to pay for it:

It looks like we’re in for a long, nasty battle:
Harvard University has filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration over its "unlawful" multibillion dollar freeze of research funding to the university.
"Moments ago, we filed a lawsuit to halt the funding freeze because it is unlawful and beyond the government’s authority," Harvard President Alan Garber wrote in a post on X.
The move comes just one day after the Trump administration planned to cut another $1 billion in federal grants and contracts to the university, according to the Wall Street Journal, which is in addition to the $2.2 billion freeze that was announced last week.
In response to the lawsuit, a White House spokesperson told Fox News Digital that Harvard's "gravy train of federal assistance" is coming to an end.

Many Jewish students are disgusted with the university’s behavior:
Harvard students and alumni are speaking out after the university announced it is suing the Trump administration rather than comply with its demands to address antisemitism on its campus.
"The government withheld funds from racist schools that refused to integrate. The Obama administration repeatedly threatened to withhold federal funds to sexist schools that refused to combat sexual assault. The Trump Administration's efforts are in no way an unprecedented threat on higher education. Should Harvard still like to enjoy American taxpayer money, they can simply choose to comply with federal law at any point," Harvard student Shabbos Kestenbaum told Fox News Digital.
Every time someone says “as a Jew” right before minimizing Jew-hatred or covering for institutions that enable it, antisemites everywhere breathe a collective sigh of relief.

Alan Garber isn’t speaking as a Jew.
He’s speaking as a coward. pic.twitter.com/kQ86tcP7S4
Here’s the kind of thing Garber isn’t apparently interested in stopping:
Kestenbaum is currently suing the Ivy League university, alleging the school failed to properly address complaints of antisemitism and threats of violence directed at him. Harvard's financial and systems coordinator Gustavo Espada allegedly posted online that Kestenbaum needed to "watch [his] back" and that he was "coming for much more than blood."
In my view, Harvard should be able to run its institution in any (lawful) way it so chooses—we just shouldn’t have to pay for it. Be like Hillsdale, Harvard—do it on your own dime.
There is another way:
