Two-Faced: Pelosi Blasted Newspaper's Reporting on Biden Even Though She Knew the Dark Truth

We all knew it was happening, and we reported it here extensively: Joe Biden was declining cognitively, and it got progressively worse during his one and thankfully only term as president.

Now, no one wants to deride someone with a sad condition that is usually very painful for loved ones to witness.

But the problem here was obviously that he was commander-in-chief of the most powerful nation on earth, and from his candidacy to his departure, he turned increasingly radical-left on matters from gender ideology to the border. Meanwhile, his handlers, the Democrats and the media just blithely continued along telling us he was fine and that we were hateful for pointing out that wandering aimlessly around stages is not normal behavior for a world leader.

It’s hardly a surprise then, to hear that Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) realized exactly what was going on—yet viciously trashed those who told Americans the truth. It was another revelation from a new book, "Uncharted: How Trump Beat Biden, Harris, and the Odds in the Wildest Campaign in History" by author Chris Whipple:

According to Whipple's book, Pelosi went to the White House in May 2024 for an awards ceremony and was "startled by how much the president had aged."
"He was not the same Joe Biden," Pelosi told a friend, according to the book.
Pelosi was at the White House to accept the Presidential Medal of Freedom, but the day was "awkward, even painful" for her as she worried Democrats would suffer on Election Day, the book says.
"She couldn’t shake the realization that Joe Biden was a shadow of himself," Whipple wrote.

The Nasty Move Pelosi Reportedly Made to Push Biden Out

She may have had the “realization,” but God forbid she should tell the truth:

The next month, the Wall Street Journal published a bombshell report titled "Behind Closed Doors, Biden Shows Signs of Slipping," which outlined several instances where the president made gaffes and displayed low energy in various meetings with lawmakers and officials, citing dozens of interviews with Republicans and Democrats who either participated in meetings with Biden or were briefed on them at the time.

Although the Journal reported on the very things she herself saw, she wasted no time in trashing them anyway:

It wasn’t long after that when Pelosi and the world witnessed Biden’s disastrous June '24 debate appearance. She came to the conclusion that she, the Dems, and the media could conceal the decline no more. Then former speaker wasted no time in moving to figuratively stab the then-president and longtime friend in the back and engineer “his” decision to walk away from his reelection campaign.

As I said, we knew at the time that a lot of despicable gaslighting was going on during Biden’s tenure—and that the Democrat/media industrial complex was lying their eyes out—but it’s still eye-opening to read the actual moments and how thoroughly they betrayed Americans.

We need to keep these people away from power as long as possible. Forever would be nice.
