Vice President Kamala Harris—or maybe we should refer to her as the co-president now that Joe Biden has quit his reelection campaign and is a lame duck—met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Thursday after pointedly skipping his Wednesday speech to Congress.
She put on her "serious face" as they shook hands and could barely work up a smile:
The White House spent DAYS hyping up Kamala Harris’ meeting with Netanyahu, then kicked the press out after *literally* 14 seconds

Although she claimed that Israel has the full support of the United States as the Jewish state fights its war against Hamas terrorists after they sent murderers and rapists to kill, rape, and kidnap over 1,400 Israeli citizens in October 2023, she also demanded Israel quickly negotiate a ceasefire and end the hostilities.
Harris said she’s always “had an unwavering commitment to the existence of the State of Israel, to its security, and to the people of Israel. I've said it many times, but it bears repeating. Israel has a right to defend itself, and how it does so matters.”
The likely Democratic nominee for president added: “It is time for this war to end and end in a way where Israel is secure, all the hostages are released, the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza ends, and the Palestinian people can exercise their right to freedom, dignity and self-determination.”
She then tried to talk tough to the Israeli leader, demanding the magical ceasefire that would somehow solve everything, and made sure to remind her radical leftist supporters that she was still on their team:
She said she told Netanyahu “It is time to get this deal done,” adding, “So to everyone who has been calling for a cease-fire and to everyone who yearns for peace, I see you and I hear you.”

I wrote Wednesday about former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s contemptible response to Netanyahu’s speech, but the same words would apply to Kamala:
Notice what’s also missing from her divisive message: a call to Hamas to release the hostages. It baffles me that Israel is seemingly always to blame for the terrorists’ evil acts. And what exactly are you asking them to do, Nancy—just say, "Fine, we’ll stop all operations and let Hamas regroup to attack us again if only they’ll release some of the hostages that they haven’t already murdered"? Doesn’t sound like much of a plan.
Joe Biden has not been a very good friend to Israel during its time of crisis and has constantly undermined Netanyahu as he's tried to eliminate the terrorist scourge. Should the unthinkable occur and Kamala Harris somehow win the presidency, Israel could find itself further isolated and left out in the cold by its former number-one ally because Harris would be an even worse friend than Bumbling Joe. She's a radical leftist and is beholden to her progressive wing, which has become increasingly (openly) antisemitic. They seem to show little sympathy to the victims and the families of the savage Hamas attack, yet consider every Palestinian casualty an act of genocidal evil by Israel.
War is ugly, which is why Hamas shouldn't have started one.
Kamala Harris is an extreme leftist.

She boycotted Prime Minister Netanyahu's message to Congress because she represents the anti-Israel, pro-Hamas extremists who hate what our country stands for.
It is a disgrace that she abdicated her duty and refused to attend. pic.twitter.com/ll0I9LhYjC
