Donald Trump dropped by a New York Fire Department station in midtown Manhattan Thursday to deliver pizzas after spending another day in court for DA Alvin Bragg’s case against the former president for falsifying business records.
The firefighters appeared to be pleased to see him, and in the video you can hear one or more say, “Save us, please save us.” I think it's quite apparent who they want saving from.

Trump has visited this station before:
The former president and presumptive 2024 Republican presidential nominee arrived with pizza to the same New York City fire department he visited in 2021 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on Sept. 11, 2021.
Trump spent the day in a Manhattan courtroom to witness testimony and cross-examination on criminal charges against him. The judge also heard arguments from prosecutors and Trump's defense team on allegations the former president violating the gag order imposed upon him.
The FDNY, which has hosted leaders of nearly every political affiliation, said it appreciates anyone who supports first responders.
"We appreciate whoever supports our members at the FDNY, no matter their political affiliation," the department said in a statement.

Trump was certainly having more fun at the station than he did at the courthouse:

Contrast his appearance with the bitter, weak response from President Joe Biden Thursday on the pro-Hamas demonstrations embroiling campuses across the nation, as well as his speech in North Carolina where he spewed blatant falsehoods:

Trump told the firefighters he still loves the Big Apple despite how its leaders have apparently turned against him:
“I LOVE YOU ALL-special people,” Trump signed in one firefighter’s log book...
At the fire station, Trump reiterated his “love” for New York City.
"We're going to come in. Number one, you have to stop crime, and we're going to let the police do their job. They have to be given back their authority. They have to be able to do their job," Trump said. "And we're going to come into New York. We're making a big play for New York, other cities too. But this city, I love this city."
It's not the first time recently that Trump has roamed the streets of Manhattan. In April he made several stops where he was lauded by residents, as RedState's Nick Arama reported:
Trump decided to go to Harlem to visit the bodega where Jose Alba, a worker, had been charged with murder when he defended himself from attack. The charges were dropped after the public backlash. Alba testified before the House last year about DA Alvin Bragg's performance. The owner of the store said he was going to tell Trump that the city was no longer safe. He said, “I have never voted, because I’ve been working, but this time I will. We need Donald Trump back in the White House because he’s a strong guy,”
Trump also met with Francisco Marte, a small business advocate and president of New York’s Bodega and Small Business Association. Marte said he was grateful for Trump’s support both of small businesses and of “law and order” — but noted his group does not endorse political candidates as a rule.
Trump was greeted with cheers and the chant of "Four more years!"
The contrast between Trump and Biden has never been more apparent, and Biden's fragility and mental confusion contrast very poorly with Trump's ability to connect with people and freely interact with them. Biden just shouts, while Trump actually has conversations.
The choice has never been more clear.
