Unfortunately for Kamala Harris, the Democrat Party has chosen a week before the election to confirm what most of the American people have suspected all along: they do not care about everyday average Americans. They are the party of the East and West Coast elites, Marxist college professors, and Hollywood. They have no interest in real Americans. The ones the great Rush Limbaugh used to say, "Make the country work." That became even more evident this week when President Joe Biden called supporters of Donald Trump "garbage."
Trump, in his genius, wasted no time in capitalizing on what happens when Joe Biden is left unsupervised. On Wednesday, at a campaign stop in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Trump rolled up in a garbage truck with a giant Trump sign on the side, wearing an orange vest. The most epic troll ever was complete, and, as they say, the crowd went wild.

While the reaction to "garbage gate" in Wisconsin and all over the country has been amazing and fun to watch, it hits especially close to home for me. You see, my husband actually is a garbage man. He has always been proud of what he does, and needless to say, he is reveling in the fact that garbage men are in the spotlight because of Joe Biden's ridiculous and insulting comments. He works at a local hospital and has been a garbage man for over twenty years. It's not a glamorous job; it can be very physically taxing. It often has him coming home smelling well, less than desirable, especially in the summer. Garbage has not made him a wealthy man, but we have not wanted for anything and manage to go on a vacation here and there.
In 2020, after over twenty-one years on the job, he retired. He had more than earned it, and I was glad that he finally had the time to do the things we all say we are going to do when we retire. Then the Joe Biden-Kamala Harris economy came along. Long story short, in late 2021, he went back to work part-time. Thanks, Joe and Kamala.
What Donald Trump has done, courtesy of Joe Biden's chronic foot-in-mouth disease, is put the focus on people like my husband. He and his fellow garbagemen, and every other average American who just happens to support Trump all over the country, are good, hard-working people. They get up every day and go to work to support themselves and their families and do the best job they can. They are not "bitter clingers," as Barack Obama described them, nor are they "irredeemable deplorables," as Hillary Clinton said. They are not fascists, and they are not Nazis, as Kamala Harris, Tim Walz, and the rest of the Democrats -- and let's not forget the media -- have portrayed them to be.

What Democrats and the left have done was to essentially let it be known what they really think of Americans. Their completely irrational hatred of Donald Trump is equal to their completely irrational hatred of the American people. But what they hate even more than Trump and the garbagemen of America is the fact that those garbagemen, and others like them, have the power to vote them the hell out. Imagine, the very serfs you look down your nose at with contempt and disgust are the ones who hold power over you.
But we are seeing something happening out there. Garbagemen and other ordinary people are getting sick and tired of Democrats and other elitists depicting them as "racist, sexist, bigoted homophobes" (another Rushism) because they are voting for Donald Trump. They are tired of having left-wing agendas shoved down their throats when all they are trying to do is take care of their families and live their lives with as little government intrusion as possible.
My husband loves his job, as I am sure many other garbagemen do too. It's good to see people who often get overlooked get some recognition, even if it comes in an offbeat way. Besides, what would we do if no one took out the garbage? It's those people who are going to do a job, even taking out the garbage, with honor and integrity, something Joe Biden knows little about. But here is what has also been revealed: Democrats are perfectly fine with insulting half of the country and asking for their vote in the same breath.
Kamala Harris is bringing in the big guns, with Hillary Clinton set to speak in Tampa on Saturday. You have to wonder if she will call Trump supporters "deplorables" again.
