It's begun, according to sources across the world--Israel has started to return fire against Iran and its proxies, just over a year after the Oct. 7 terror attack.

Chief foreign correspondent for Fox News, Trey Yingst, reported via his X account:

Israel has started their attack against Iran, Fox News can confirm.

The strikes are meant to send a message of deterrence, I’m told.

There was communication with the Americans ahead of the strikes over the past several days.

Reports include explosions in the capital of Iran, Tehran, and other cities.

And while it's unclear at this moment where/when the image in the post below was taken, the reports say that strikes are happening in both Tehran and Karaj, and the national airport--as well as in Iraq (possibly targeting militia members or a base):

The strikes come just hours after two people were killed by Hezbollah rocket fire, as Israel's official X account notes, in a Muslim town:

The post reads:

Two innocent lives were taken today in a Hezbollah rocket attack on the Muslim town of Majd al-Krum, near Karmiel.

Iranian-backed Hezbollah is deliberately targeting Jews, Christians, Muslims, and Druze.

They must be stopped before it’s too late.

May the victims’ memory be a blessing.
